drum pump 

for viscous liquids

In the food industry are liquids for the final product stocked in 200 l - barrels. If this liquids have viscosities of 15.000 - 20.000 mPas it is technical difficult, to pump these fluids with a standard drum pump and to handle with a plunger piston.

Different inconveniences are possible, depending to the viscosity:

The outlet pressure is getting higher. The fluid forms a cone in the middle of the drum which is more difficult to pump than the liquid in the outside section.

The solution for all this difficulties is the application of a high-pressure drum pump. The high pressure allows a transfer of the viscous fluid without any problems. Die platform is fortified by 2 winches which have the function to increase the pressure on the surface of the drum. So the viscous liquid moves to the surface.
